Employment Opportunities
The Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) at the Munroe-Meyer Institute and the University of Nebraska Medical Center has a number of full- (40-hr) and part-time positions for working directly with the patient populations of the Center. The CASD consists of three clinical programs: the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Program, the Early Intervention for Autism Program, and the Severe Behavior Disorders Program. The full-time positions include working as a primary (Behavior Analysis Specialist) or back-up therapist (Behavioral Technician) and entail collecting and analyzing behavioral data and serving as a therapist for the assessment and treatment of severe behavior problems and pediatric feeding disorders. The part-time position (Behavioral Assistant) works directly in the Early Intervention Program on the implementation of skill acquisition programs for young children with Autism. All positions require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field, and knowledge of behavioral assessment/treatment programs or BCBA eligibility is preferred. Interested candidates should contact Kelly Bouxsein (kbouxsein@unmc.edu) at 402-559-3563.
