HLABA Monthly Speaker Series

UNO Munroe Meyer Institute's ABA Master's Degree Program:
A new program enhancement in Applied Behavior Analysis coursework has been added to the Master’s degree curriculum at UNO. Individuals completing a specified 45-hour Master’s Degree program in School Psychology will be eligible for Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and will also be able to become a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) in Nebraska.

I-PART (Iowa's Program Assistance Response Team)
A department of the Woodward Resource Center, Woodward, IA
Via mobile teams, I-PART provides behavioral consultation at locations throughout Iowa for individualso of all ages who have intellectual delay and/or mentall illness, or autism. Team members develop behavior support plans which reflect the professional literature. The program has a strong appreciation of a behavior analysis framework. Also, team members provide oral presentations throughout the state on a variety of relevant topics. Salary range starts at $35,318 and progresses to $52,332 over time. Overnight travel is required approximately 1 night per week, but can flucuate.

1-full-time 24/7-Counselor, Institute for Life Span Studies at Parsons, University of Kansas. The Counselor will assess and implement family interventions for both the foster and natural parents, and will conduct assessments and design cognitive behavior treatments for the children in the project. Required: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Clinical Psychology or a related field; Six months experience with administrative components of behavioral treatment and direct clinical services; Must meet all required state certification or licensing criteria.
